Equine-Ortho Vet, a practice with veterinarian Tim Samoy specilized in quality orthopedic examinations en medical sport and medical sport management of horses. Those examinations can take place at our practice and on the road.
Veterinairan Tim Samoy gratuated in 2006 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Ghent. After those studies, Tim started directly as veterinarian on the orthopedic departement of the Faculty. He combined this with his own praxtice in Antwerp.
In 2013 Tim became Team-Veterinarian on the European Championships of pony's in Arezzo, the European Championships Eventing of Junior and Young Riders in Jardy and the International Eventing Competition in Boekelo.
Since 2014 he became FEI Official Veterinarian for the disciplines dressage, jumping, horse driving and eventing. You can often see hem as 'FEI Veterinary Deligate' on shows like Stephex Masters in Wolvertem, CSI Antwerp, ....
Tim Samoy has since 2016 his own orthopedic center in Merchtem where quality orthpedics examinations, pre-purchase examinations, sales examinations and medical sport management of sporthorses are central.
